2018 Mazda MX-5 Limited Edition (Perfomance Pack)

For anyone that follows me you’ll know that I have a little soft spot for small, Light weight sports cars.

For me there is no greater driving pleasure than the rawness of a Lotus Elise, or the nimbleness of a Mazda MX-5.

Since the Mazda Mx-5 s were first released in 1989, they have been one of the most popular sports cars ever sold. The recipe was pretty simple. Take the drivability and lightweight nimbleness of the British roadsters of the 60’s and 70’s, create the same fun factor with Japanese reliability and some modern technology, and package it all together in an affordable package, Viola!!! The Mazda MX-5.

Now since then the humble little MX-5 is now in it’s 4th generation and appealing to a younger generation.

In 2015 the ND Mx5 was released, and this took the car way back to the lightness of the original NA models with all the modern technology and comforts and 5 star ANCAP safety rating.

But they weren’t done there………..

In 2016 was the surprise release of the MX-5 RF model. (Retractable fastback) This had a very cool looking fastback coupe with a foldable hardtop that creates a Targa.
